Genuine Southern Hospitality

Howdy!

My name is Charlie, and this is a little story for you to get to know me and learn a bit about why I love events so much. As Lyle Lovett once said, "I was born and raised in Texas; and it means so much to me," and I couldn't agree more. Without my Texas roots, both my hospitality style and work ethic would suffer greatly. I can't attribute all my learning to just the place I was born, though. From a young age, I have been involved in organizing and hosting events of all kinds, from birthdays and holidays to weddings, school fundraisers, nonprofit events, and simply throwing a party just to have some fun. If your family is anything like mine, you've had your fair share of being volunteered to help host or prepare for a multitude of family functions. I can thank my family for teaching me to serve from the heart and have fun while sharing the gift of hospitality with others. Without their support of my endeavors, I would never have considered that running events could be a viable means of making a living. And yet, here I am, with the privilege of producing hospitality experiences for people from all walks of life and showing them what genuine Southern hospitality is all about.

Texas is the biggest little place in the whole world, and I am proof of it. With a smile on my face and the comforting Southern charm of a grandma, I can always find a friend I know or even make a new one. It's not a rare occurrence for someone to say, "We've met somewhere before, haven't we?" when we in fact have never met, but I never let on. Working in events professionally for 4 years has afforded me many connections. Match that with my uncanny ability to make friends wherever I go, and you get a social network like mine, which has positioned me as my friends' go-to person to "know a guy." As a Jack of all trades, and with friends and connections around the world, any issue that might arise is just a phone call or a safety pin away from being resolved.
